What We’re Here to Do

Purpose Led Learning partners with K–12 schools and principals to build classrooms where every teacher is equipped to reach every student. Through instructional coaching, professional development, and curriculum work, we help educators connect their practice to the experiences, strengths, and needs of the students sitting in front of them so that learning becomes meaningful, teaching becomes intentional, and no child is left on the outside of their own education.

The Problem We Solve

Too many students walk into school and feel like it was not built for them.

When the curriculum does not reflect their lives, when instruction does not connect to their identity, and when no one has equipped their teachers to truly see them students disengage. They act out. They fall behind. And the gap between who they are and what school expects them to be grows wider every year.

That gap is not inevitable. And it is not the students’ fault.

About the Founder

This work did not start in a consulting firm. It started in a classroom.

I have spent my career in education doing one thing: showing up for the students who need someone to believe in them. Not because it was easy. Because it was necessary.

With over 15 years in K–8 education, from the classroom to curriculum leadership, literacy coaching, instructional coaching, and school-level leadership, I have worked at the intersection of data, instruction, and equity. I have coached teachers, built curriculum from the ground up, analyzed assessment data to find the students falling through the cracks, and sat in rooms where decisions were made about students who deserved better.

I founded Purpose Led Learning because I kept seeing the same thing everywhere: educators who genuinely cared but had never been given the tools to reach their most underserved students. That gap is fixable. And that is exactly what this work does.

I am also a doctoral candidate in Educational Leadership, where my research focuses on educator effectiveness and student outcomes. Everything I bring into a school is grounded in both research and lived experience.

The achievement gap is really a teaching gap. When teachers are equipped with the right tools, knowledge, and relationships, every student can succeed. That is what this work builds.
